My pick for 2022 is "Everything, Everywhere All At Once". This movie delivered on the hype and had exactly what it said, Everything.

The movie initially starts out getting to know the character and her current situation. She is being audited by the IRS however her life changes and she is pulled into something much bigger and very unbelievable very quickly in the story. The viewer is also left in the dark with the character trying to figure out what's going on.

The movie has a lot of suspense and mystery that you are trying to put together and figure out exactly what's going on. This is a spoiler free review so I will not be going into any details.

Great audio and visuals with this movie. There was a lot going on in a lot of the scenes and likely needs to be viewed multiple times to pick up on everything. There was a lot of symbolism used, a lot of irony and little details that show how much attention was put into building this movie.

I went into this movie only with seeing the box. I never watched a trailer, I just saw a post showing the box and saying it was a good movie so I bought it and watched it without any context. Now days you have to pretty much do that since trailers give away the entire movie. I reccomend that you give this a watch without watching the trailer or getting any details it will be a much better experience IMHO.
